Brain Development and YOUR Child.

Brain Development and YOUR Child.

As we grow and develop in today’s environment and the world there can be a lot that can stop the brain from developing correctly. The brain is not fully developed until a human-any human- until they are in their mid-20s. That is correct. So what does a teenager have doing drugs and alcohol? And babies having babies when the brain is not developed.

Dr. Gabor Mate says that childhood trauma can cause adult anxiety. I was so stressed when I was pregnant with my daughter, she was born with asthma and allergies.

Let YOUR child know that their brain is not developed until their mid-twenties. That decision-making about sex, drugs or sny negative behavior is not their decision to make before at least they are 18. You are not their friend, you are their parent. We need to always act like their parent.

I have seen first hand that once a person goes over the X Factor line with alcohol they most like cannot come back. And at the time they go over that X-Factor line their brain stops developing.

The earlier that a child understands what happens to their brain when they do negative things too young the easier it is for them to say NO to those outside influences. My youngest child started drinking 2 weeks after a friend was killed in a tragic accident when he was 13. He not only had trauma in his early life he then went onto the pot, meth, and maybe cocaine. He is very open about his life. In the last few years, he just quit drugs, spending $1,400 a month. I am very careful even not having alcohol in the house for myself because as we age addiction can become easier.

Addictions can be almost anything, food, shopping, alcohol, drugs, sex, and many more things. Since we are all unique then we all can have unique addictions that will affect our brains. But, give the little ones, the children, YOUR child help in knowing that their brain is not fully developed until their mid-twenties.

Hiya! I know this is kinda off topic but I’d figured I’d ask. Would you be interested in trading links or maybe guest authoring a blog article or vice-versa? My site discusses a lot of the same topics as yours and I feel we could greatly benefit from each other. If you happen to be interested feel free to send me an email. I look forward to hearing from you! Great blog by the way!

May I simply say what a relief to discover someone that genuinely understands what they are discussing on the
internet. You definitely realize how to bring an issue to
light and make it important. More and more people must read this
and understand this side of the story. I can’t believe you’re
not more popular because you certainly have the
    gift.
