YOUR online footprint for ever.

WE all know, and YOU should know, and YOUR children should know. Know that anything any of us put on the computer is there forever. Any words, any pictures, any negative about anyone, any bullying or any sexting or naked pictures any us put on the internet. It is there for anyone and everyone to see. Not only that there are companies and governments that store this data and information forever. So what we have all done in our teenage years going into high school is out there. But, be very careful what you say or do with online social media. It matters, it all matters for all of us.

YOUR online footprint forever.

That does not make it right that all of our stuff is out there forever, but it is a fact and so know that words you say or pictures you take are there for life and beyond. Be careful and mindful.

YOUR childhood or YOUR child’s childhood will go very fast and you will be out there in your professional life. Those foolish things we do as teenagers use to not matter. People use to forget and move on when we all did stupid things growing up. But now the stupid things are caught on camera or something is written about. And it is there forever and ever.

Think and think long and hard about what YOU put on the internet or that YOUR child puts on the internet. It all can be life-long and life-changing for that matter.

YOUR online footprint forever.

The computer can be your friend and do a lot of good for you and your family. But, the computer retains everything that goes into it forever.

I happen to have been on the computer for almost 30 years now, researching and writing. I love what the computer has afforded us all to do. But, I am not one that writes critical things of others or wants any wrong pictures of anyone to get onto the computer.

I do like the way you have framed this particular situation and it does provide me personally some fodder for thought. However, through just what I have observed, I basically trust when other feed-back stack on that folks keep on issue and in no way get started upon a soap box involving some other news of the day. Anyway, thank you for this outstanding piece and while I can not really go along with it in totality, I regard your perspective.
