Raising children who are self-motivated is a surefire way to ensure that YOUR child will be able to succeed later in life. Successful people know what hard work is-and understand that hard work is worth doing, with or without the reward.Internal motivation is when the desire and drive for something come completely from within. Even if there is no reward or recognition for success or achievement o the goal, the personal desire to do one’s best is unaffected.
Confidence comes from a deep knowing that YOUR child is secure in something. Truly confident children have worked hard to achieve the thing that they are confident in-whether it is an academic success, musical ability, or even confidence in a friendship.
My Child Setting a Goal and Motivated to Pursue It
The following can help YOU develop internal motivation in YOUR child:
-
Love them unconditionally
-
Create opportunities for YOUR child to feel successful
-
Make the work fun, although the work may not in intrinsically fun, adept a fun attitude towards the work.
-
Encourage your child to be reflective of their work
-
How did you feel about your work?
-
Can you tell me about your work?
-
What did you like about your work?
-
And what was hard about your work?
-
What was your favorite part?
-
Be judicious and selective when giving out rewards, and try to pick rewards that are proportional to the achievement.
Children dream big, anything is possible and that is how it should be. Do not deny your child’s dreams or their right to dream, you will be undermining their chances of achievement

Deny their children’s dreams
-
Control YOUR child
-
Not teaching them life skills
-
Not providing a quality education
-
Being negative views
Set a Good Example
YOUR child will “learn what they live and live out what they learn.” Success and wealth are products of a process;
anyone can achieve them.
A child who grows up in a successful family will live around that process and adopt it in their own lives.
Their standard will model:
-
Being proactive
-
positive
-
role model
-
supportive
-
encouraging
-

-
