Putting your hand up in class to ask a question is important. If a child needs clarification on the subject at hand. Or if the children are not able to understand the assignment. Questions are important in our learning. Mentally, we ask ourselves questions all the time; should I do it this way or would it be better the other way. And in friendships questions are great because you want your friend to like the same things you like.
Asking Questions for Success.
Asking a question is a tool of all resourceful and courageous people. Tiger Woods became an exceptional athlete because he asked for additional training and coaching. Asking creates new possibilities. When we have the courage to ask the right questions, we allow ourselves to use more of our potential to achieve extraordinary results. Asking for what we want or need opens many new doors, behind which are limitless possibilities.
Asking Questions for Success.
So, why are people so afraid to ask? There are many reasons, such as awkwardness of looking needy, foolish, or stupid. No one wants to experience that. The most common reason that stops people from using the power of asking is simply the fear of getting rejected. They are afraid to hear the word no. Never be afraid to hear the word No because that word can get you to success. And to the level of development in YOUR child’s life. Change the no to they may say Yes, and that will encourage and inspire YOUR Child.
Ask as if YOU expect to get it. And be clear and specific. The first time YOU ask may not get you the Yes. So keep asking that good question. Keep asking until you get it. A 12-year-old build a house for a poor family in Ensenada, Mexico because she kept asking. She was persistent and did not give up after receiving lots of NOs.
