Successful Student. A successful student is one that knows it is their job to do their best in their school work. How simple is that? In today’s schools, there are always tutors and extra help in hard subjects. Take advantage of those and see that the child takes some hard courses. These will, later on, make the child know they can reach above. And that they have it in them to go beyond. Help your child build their toolbox for their future. A child takes after YOU – the adult. Be that role model and stay the course for them. Their childhood will go past very fast

Successful students require to do their homework on time. And there should be extra activities, either school activities or outside activities. Keep a structured regular schedule in the home and for their activities.

Children do not do well with chaos or a parent who is frazzled or anxious. And a parent is not in control and has addictions. There are so many things that can help with any of these issues. I believe Dr. Gabor Mate can help any of these issues if you listen to his podcasts. He is an amazing person and I listen to him constantly. And just put his podcast on and listen you will learn a lot.

Be sure that YOUR child is surrounded by like-minded children. Children who are respectful and kind just like your child. Talk with your child about the type of friends to hang around with. Your role model so YOUR friends really say a lot about how they will pick friends. Help your child to discern about friends. That they do not make bad choices just to be a friend. Or that they do bad things to have a friend. Friendship should not be hard when both people respect themself and others.

YOUR Child and Real Friends.
