What Is YOUR Potential?
Will you reach your potential? We each have to ask this question all the time from when we recognize WE have potential to when we pass over.
Am I going to reach my Potential?
How will I know if I am making headway?
YOU should want to not only reach YOUR potential but want everyone you know and meet to reach their potential also.
I remember when my children were in school. Not only did I want my children to get good grades and be a good student but I wanted everyone in their school to get good grades and be good students. That has followed me through my life. All my life I have wanted to be successful but I wanted all family and friends to be successful also. And everyone else who wanted success I am for them. Cheering on life, as it comes in chapters, chapter 5 may have been a struggle but I am going to make chapter 10 a great chapter. Every human has mountains and valleys in their life. If you are blessed never to have a valley then that is a WOW! Not too many of us have never had a valley. But, good for you if that is the case.
Will YOU meet YOUR Potential?
I wish you the best on your journey – “the longest journey is the journey within”, says Dag Hammarskjold. He was the UN Secretary-General and killed in an airplane crash in Africa that they now say may have been a planned airplane crash. That journey is where you will find your POTENTIAL Very seldom will the potential just show up in a minute of thought. It will take your self-discipline and many minutes.
Life is not easy so says Dr. Scott Peck in the “Road Less Traveled” which is a lot about self-discipline and many other things. But that is his first sentence is a really great book.
YOU come first in your life, and yes, always help others when you can.
