Always be calm and cool. Always keep an “indoor” voice as they say,
Respect is an important skill, one that will help children succeed when they are young and they become adults.
YOU will lead and guide your children and as they watch you they will have respectful behavior.
It becomes easier when the parent knows the child needs their Toolbox. Which will be full of topics and issues that they need to have as they develop into Middle School and beyond. Life is not easy, maybe for a few, it is but not for most of us. Make sure that you the parent stay off social media or the phone when your child is at home. Your attention to them is the top priority. YOUR needs come secondary to your child’s needs. Pay attention to what they are doing and what they are saying.
