YOU are Unique in the Universe. When we each understand that we have empathy for others who are different. Forget and stay away from those who are negative and dark. Focus on YOU and remember there a lot of good people who think good thoughts. If you are an introvert just stay at the edge of things until you feel comfortable. Or if you are an extrovert please careful of talking too much and being too bossy and pushy. It is a balancing act but if you work on it, it will become easy in time.

Listen to what others have to say. And here are 5 poor listening styles: Spacing out, pretend listening, selective listening, word listening, self-centered listening. I hope you have learned to listen well, just as you want others to listen to you well.

Understanding instead of Judging others.

YOU are the most important person in YOUR life so take care of Self and you will find your place and have a great journey. The path is long and can be dangerous but the longest journey is the journey within. Learning about SELF is the most important thing you can do.

Understanding instead of Judging others.

All this written above is YOUR job while you are growing and learning. But, sometimes writing the positive things down that has gone on in the day may help. Or each member of the family can talk about the high point of their day and the low point of their day. This helps in their positive thinking and maybe ways they can improve on their self. The sooner we all learn some of these life skills and lessons the better chance we have to develop to the next level. You do not want to get to the end of school life and have to learn some of these basic life-skills that should have been learned in teen years or before.

Self-Determination for YOUR child’s life.
