Most people are passive most of the time. Then in a minute, we can go over to the dark side being aggressive. Staying and making it stick should be in the middle – being assertive.
The most important area where we all have to be assertive – is about our SELF and YOUR children. Whether we are in a large family, at school, or at any event or by YOURself – anything that comes up in a moment’s time everyone should be able to stay within the “lines” and just stay calm and be assertive ONLY.
Means being direct about what you need, want, feel, or believe in a way that is respectful to you and others. It involves communication skill that can reduce conflict, build self-confidence and improve relationships among other things.
