Mission Statement for the School Year

There is no right or wrong way to write a Mission Statement; it is only YOUR Mission Statement.

It may be for only this school year or for the whole Middle School or High School experience and what YOU want it to look like.

Or it can be a mix match – you can make it for each and every year or make a final one for a larger period like all of Middle School.

Tape it to your bedroom door or the refrigerator or YOUR locker. YOUR Mission Statement will be an inspiration to others to write their own. Let others in your school know you have written a Mission Statement- and grateful if they are able to write one. Below is an example and will give you ideas on how to write YOUR Mission Statement. As you can see it is not long but contains your expectations and goals for the next year or years.

To write YOUR Mission Statement get your paper and pen and sit down and write what YOU want YOUR school year to look like:

  1. Are you going to go to class and focus on that class at that time

  2. What are you going to challenge YOURself to take a harder class

  3. Are you going to be a likable student in your school environment

  4. are you going to listen more and talk less

Mission Statement for the School Year

These are questions that can help YOU make YOUR Mission Statement for YOUR School year. YOUR family can do a Mission Statement for the year or many years for that matter. Be creative, it is your mission statement. And be meaningful and know what you can accomplish and focus on that.

However, there are a thousand questions that can make up YOUR Mission Statement – no right or wrong – it is YOU and YOUR’s only.

If YOUR child, as they grow, wants to be treated as a pre-adult then they have to know what a pre-adults responsibility are:

Mission Statement

Planning

Being responsible

Being a good student

Having motivation

Being involved

Be on time at home and at school

Being respectful – to self and to others

Be positive

Hi there! Do you know if they make any plugins to assist with Search Engine Optimization? I’m trying to get my blog to rank for some targeted keywords but I’m not seeing very good success. If you know of any please share. Appreciate it!
