In today’s world, YOUR child needs to be strong, have self-confidence, and self-discipline. Help YOUR child to have those so that their journey into HIgh School and adulthood are made easier by knowing “The Code” for them. “The Code” can be called other things: “Principles”.

Therefore, my great hero author, Dr. Stephen Covey, The 7 Habits of Highly Successful People, said:
“A principle is something that you stand for so strongly that you will fight with everything you have not to break it”.
Code for YOUR child:
always keep their word
show kindness and respect
be hardworking
In addition, there is no scientifically proven ideal method to determine what one’s principles. Each person is different and we each value different things.

What is important to your child?
Prioritize
In other words having a list of principles, or The Code for your child is for their personal growth and development, it will also be good for their willpower.
Determine what your principles, The Code, is a very personal process. Create YOUR list and help YOUR child create their list of principles to live by.
However, the most important thing is that the principles you come up with bring out the version of yourself that you truly want to become. Your principles should be a reflection of your unique ideas and values. YOU will become better for the effort and YOUR child will have an easier journey into adulthood with their own “The Code” and their principles
